Addressing a Ramle audience, Rav Amnon Yitzchak referred to the split that exists today between Shas and former Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar. Since Rabbi Amar endorsed Rabbi Boaron in the Chief Rabbinate elections and not Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef, the party has severed ties with the former Sephardi Chief Rabbi.
Rabbi Yitzchak explained to the audience how Shas targeted him and the suffering he endured as a result. He cited that Rabbi Amar is victim to the same treatment as he received during the election.
Rav Amnon told the tzibur that what goes around comes around and Shas’ destiny is collapse and no matter what they do to prevent this, it is inevitable.
“Not a crumb will remain o f the party” he explained, adding that one only has to look at the upcoming municipal elections and one can see just how many people are turning their backs on the party. He concludes by referring to Aryeh Deri as a “rosh m’rusha” who is harming all chareidim to the exclusion of Shas.

Amnon Yitzhak was written off by gedolim as someone who has not yiras shamayim and as such he should not be quoted
There is quite a bit of prophecy in his words…keep your eyes open and watch the scene unfold.
Rav Amnon Yitzchak is one of the most successful people in the Kiruv movement. He is a genuine Tzaddik, caring for his fellow Jews.
It is very painful to watch politicians attacking him for political gain.
