Two days after every anti-Semitic incident – after the NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force is 48 hours into their investigation, NY Governor Cuomo makes announcements like this. No community activist has ever seen the NY State Police Hate Crimes Task Force.
“I am completely disgusted by yet another incident of bias that occurred in Brooklyn on Saturday night, when a man on a bicycle yelled anti-Semitic slurs at a member of our Jewish community.
“As upwards of 25,000 New Yorkers showed during yesterday’s solidarity march, these cowards who spew hate and division do not represent the majority of New Yorkers. When you attack one of us, you attack all of us, and we will remain united during these deeply troubling times and continue to show our love and support of the Jewish community.
“I am directing the State Police Hate Crimes Task Force to assist the NYPD in their investigation of this crime to ensure the man responsible is help accountable to the fullest extent of the law. Racism and anti-Semitism aren’t just repugnant to New York values — it’s also anti-American and illegal, and we will stand up and fight it every time we see it.”

When we observe systematic failure at addressing the problem, we have the right to conclude that the governor is not serious about it, despite his public statements. Sort of reminds us of the Obama presidency, when he almost never uttered a word of condemnation about Palestinian terror until after forced to do so. But a single retaliation by Israelis was almost immediately condemned. The governor needs to do something besides blabbering into a microphone to prove to us that he is serious about anti-Semitism. Until then, we see him lying and sitting on his hands. Sorry, but no votes are coming his way with performance like this.
this so called organization Yaffed is nothing but a folder in someone’s draw. people that remember this guy ‘ moster’ say he is a bum, never paid attention to his teachers or rebbes and now is complaining about his lack of education.
