A 5-year-old child was hurt when he fell off a kiddie ride at an amusement park in Brooklyn.
Police say the child suffered serious lacerations to the leg and head. He is expected to survive. It happened just before 7 p.m. Wednesday on a kiddie ride near Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park in Coney Island.
Fire officials say the child was taken to Belvuee Hospital. His condition was unknown.
A representative for the park did not immediately return a call requesting comment.
Sources tell YWN that the child removed the restraint, and fell onto the tracks.
