Convicted murderer Ami Popper, who is serving a sentence for the murder of seven Arabs in 1990, on Monday morning 6 Elul 5773 turned to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu seeking a pardon. Back in 2011, when the state released over 1,000 terrorists in the Gilad Shalit deal, Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef Shlita supported the release of the so-called “Jewish terrorists”, including Ami Popper.
In light of the planned release of 26 Arab terrorists on Tuesday, 7 Elul 5773, Popper is seeking a pardon as well as Israel in the coming months plans to release a total of 104 Arab terrorists in a good-will gesture to PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen).
Popper explained that he is remorseful regarding his actions and he now lives a Jewish life, one that is far from his past actions. He added that he too is entitled to second chance and not just the enemies of our nation and releasing him would show the world the “virtues of Israel.” He requests his release along with the other Jewish prisoners.
Popper, 43, has become frum and was married in 1993, and he and his wife had three children. On 17 January 2007, while on a 48-hour furlough, Popper was involved in a car accident he caused by crossing a solid line, hitting oncoming traffic. His wife and one of his sons were killed in the accident. Popper himself was moderately injured.

Sorry, Mr. Popper, as per Israel’s “justice” system and government run by Galut minded leaders only those who murdered Jews may be released. Arab murderers must stay behind bars as in other Middle East states.
LET HIM FREE!!!
Release him now! Stop the discrimination against Jews by the Israeli establishment!
Unfortunately he will not be released because Mr. Kerry never asked for him to be released. Crazy, but the reality. Have the Pally animals ever made even ONE “goodwill gesture” since Oslo began?? The c
