[COMMUNICATED CONTENT] Phones have been ringing off the hook at the Los Angeles based Kosher Phone Wireless, which released its state of the art Kosher Phone just one month ago. Hard wired to be a talk only phone that is incapable of supporting texting or internet, Kosher Phone is the only phone in America which carries the stamp of approval from a major kashrus agency, the Baltimore based Star-K, under the guidance of Rabbi Moshe Heinemann.
The phone, a Samsung SGH A157, is a black flip phone which readily displays the Star-K logo on its screen, making it easily recognizable at a glance as a Kosher Phone. Since its release, the Kosher Phone has been warmly embraced by those who want the convenience of a cell phone, without any of the associated potential hazards.
An additional benefit to Kosher Phone is that it runs on a SIM card, allowing it to function anywhere in the world. Users of GSM based carriers can use the Kosher phone with their own monthly plan and Kosher Phone Wireless offers extremely attractive monthly plans, giving users even greater flexibility. Among the many popular plans available are a $30 monthly plan which offers unlimited nationwide calling and a $50 monthly plan featuring unlimited calling, both nationwide and to landlines and cellular phones in Israel, Hong Kong, China, Portugal and Singapore. The $50 monthly plan also includes free unlimited calls to landlines in 45 other countries including Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and India. Both plans are available with no sales tax, no contract, no credit check, no activation charge and existing phone numbers can be easily transferred to a Kosher Phone free of charge.
Kosher Phone was created by 30 year old businessman Chad Hage who realized that there was a niche market for phones that did nothing more than allow users to place and receive calls. With twelve years of experience in the cell phone business, Hage spent close to a year researching and developing a talk only phone that could be used around the globe.
“The best part about this phone is that texting and internet are blocked internally,” explained Hage. “Most other similar phones have those features disabled through the network and it is possible to call the carrier and have that reversed. I am a programmer with twelve years programming experience and I can tell you that an experienced hacker would be hard pressed to hack this phone.”
Kosher Phone has no camera, no Bluetooth capabilities, no memory card slot and cannot be connected to a computer. It has been selling particularly well to parents looking for a practical, inexpensive and safe phone for their children in summer camp and with school starting in just a few weeks, Hage expects the phone’s surge in popularity to continue.
“There are kosher phones out there, but only a few,” said Hage. “None were affordable and also usable worldwide. I am very proud to be dealing with the Star-K and to have their logo on our phone because they are a leader in technological certification and are an organization that is known worldwide for their research.”
Kosher Phone is available at www.kosherphonewireless.com for $49.99 with free shipping in the continental United States. For more information visit Kosher Phone Wireless on the web or contact them at 914-752-8073.

What’s wrong with texting? Internet I can hear an issue about. In some cases the older you are (18 or older) when you get a cellphone, the more responsibile you are with using it. Today, many parents get their teenagers a cellphone when they are still young and have don’t have many responsibilities and self-control. What do they do with their cellphone? Call obviously, right? Yes, but there are some teenagers that ר״ל text their whole they are davening or worse, while they are davening שמונה עשרה!!!! If any parent wants to be an intelligent parent, when their son wants a cellphone they shouldn’t buy him one, until he’s 18. Why? Because hopefully, by the time he reaches 18, he will learn to have disciplined himself as well as have self-control. He will know when he should be talking on his cellphone or texting with his phone and when it should be in his pocket on silent mode.
1. If you dont know the answer to “What’s wrong with texting?,” you are either ignorant or not of the male persuasion.

So don’t fly a plane, it might blow up or crash. Don’t dry a car you might get into an accident etc. Cars and Planes are both machines that both dangerous machines if not used properly. The Internet is a wonderful tool, but if not used properly it can cause havoc and destruction (especially if the person who is using the Internet is a pevert). Everything in life has a good and bad side to it. It’s what it’s used for and the person that’s using it that determines the outcome. Texting is no different.
