The FBI has arrested two New York men in an alleged $100 million-plus Ponzi scheme.
FBI spokeswoman Kelly Langmesser confirms the arrests took place Thursday morning.
Brian Raymond Callahan was arrested at a relative’s home in Old Westbury, on Long Island. He’s the target of an ongoing Securities and Exchange Commission investigation.
Judd Manson was arrested at his home in Manhattan.
They were expected to face a judge in U.S. District Court in Central Islip Thursday. Their attorneys’ names were not immediately known.
The FBI says charges against the two include wire fraud, securities fraud and conspiracy to commit wire and securities fraud.
Callahan ran investment firms called Horizon Global Advisors. He and his wife were named in a 2012 SEC complaint alleging a $90 million Ponzi scheme.
