Security officials report IDF Central District Commander Major-General Nitzan Alon and his family have received threatening letters, phone calls at home and on the commander’s cellular telephone, as well as flyers circulated in his home community depicting him in an unfavorable light and using disparaging language.
Alon has been viewed as an enemy of the settlement movement for a number of years. When rumors spread of his impending appointment as central district commander, settlement leaders used all their political might to prevent the appointment, but they were unsuccessful. The senior official does not make an effort to hide his disdain for yishuvim and the religious right-wing. Tensions of late have heightened as he signed administrative orders prohibiting residents of a number of yishuvim from returning to their homes and families.
Maariv reports of late, the threats have become more specific and despite the fact all his and family phone numbers are unlisted, right-wing activists succeeded in getting them and they are now using the phones to continue threatening and harassing the general and his family.

So the army doesn’t like frum Jews who oppose army service and question the whole idea of a medinah (independent Jewish state). And the army doesn’t like those frum Jews who enthsiastically serve in the army and believe that the medinah is a mitzva. Maybe the problem is that the army is anti-religious.
The Yishuvim people he’s against actually serve in the IDF in greater proportions than anyone else.
There is BIAS on most officials in ISRAEL.
