Ophir Hartuv, a 28-year-old man died on Tuesday after suffering a heart attack while he was working at a gym in Tel Aviv. United Hatzalah volunteers together with Magen David Adom ambulance crews responded to the emergency and initiated CPR in an attempt to resuscitate Hartuv. However, after a lengthy resuscitation effort, Hartuv was pronounced dead at Ichilov hospital by the medical staff there.
Hartuv recently got married, having walked down from his Chuppah only two weeks ago. According to initial reports, it is unclear what caused the heart attack of the new chosson.
Channel 12 News reported that Hartuv’s family asked the public to remember Ophir as he was, a giving person who was always helping others throughout his life.
