The Jewish Agency for Israel has decided to assist a terror victim, the avreich who was stabbed at Shar Shechem on Tuesday, Tisha B’Av. The Jewish agency is giving 4,000 NIS in emergency aid to Moshe Menachem Lemoai in a showing of solidarity between Jews in Eretz Yisrael and the Diaspora.
The 33-year-old victim, a resident of Yerushalayim, was returning from 9 Av tefilos at the Kosel when he was attacked at the gate to the Old City. He was stabbed multiple times and has undergone surgery and today is in rehab.
Moshe, who is married and the father of four children is not having an easy time. In addition to his injuries, physical and psychological, the family is trying to manage while he is hospitalized. Jewish Agency officials hope the money will assist finding recreational activities for his children during the summer vacation time.
