Over 9,214 Terrorists Released Since the Signing of Oslo in 1993

hamAccording to a Walla News report, since the signing of the Oslo Agreement in September 1993, Israel has released 9,214 terrorists from prison. These terrorists were released in good-will or humanitarian gestures, and the startling number does not include the over 1,000 terrorists released to obtain the return of Gilad Shalit.

For Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu this latest good-will gesture to the PA (Palestinian Authority) is not the standard release, which has always enjoyed the support of his ministers, albeit with a heavy heart. Today he is facing internal opposition, as Bayit Yehudi’s adamant opposition seems to be given Likud ministers the backbone to say no and not tow the party line.

Bayit Yehudi party ministers have announced they will oppose the release, as will Yisrael Beitenu. The prime minister does not enjoy the backing of all Likud ministers either. At present it appears only Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon and Strategic Affairs Minister Dr. Yuval Steinitz have announced they will back the move. Other party ministers remain undecided at present while some, including Minister Gideon Saar, announced he will oppose the release of additional terrorists.

  1. crazy & rediculios

Israel just keeps on supporting terrorism by showing how easy it is to be a terrorist, then sit in prison & be freed a few months later & then go back to terrorism….

how crazy does the state of Israel need to get? how many times have they freed prisoners & it only brought many more deaths then what they freed them for?
