HaRav Dov Tzvi Karlenstein Shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Grodno Ashdod was hospitalized over Shabbos. He was transported to Ichilov Hospital in Petach Tikvah with a diagnosis of a possible stroke.
The rav is a resident of Ashdod’s Kiryat Ponevezh neighborhood. He awakened on Shabbos afternoon from a nap not feeling well and due to fears he may have suffered a stroke, the decision was made not to delay transport.
Persons close to the rav report on Sunday morning, 21 Menachem Av 5773 that a stroke has been ruled out and his condition is described as “good”. They are optimistic he will soon be released.
The tzibur is asked to be mispallel for הרב דב צבי בם עשירה דבורה רעכיל בתוך שאר חולי ישראל.
