In order to accommodate the opening ceremony of the Maccabiah 2013  in Jerusalem, there will be changes in traffic patterns on Thursday, 11 Menachem Av 5773, beginning at 14:30.

Highway One, the Jerusalem-Tel Aviv Highway will be closed to heavy vehicles in the direction of the capital to facilitate travel for those heading to Jerusalem for the event. Trucks will be diverted to Route 443. Beginning at 16:00, if traffic is too heavy, police will also divert drivers to Routes 443 and 395 from Eshtaol Junction towards Ein Kerem.
