11:45 IL: A Jordanian airline pilot declared a “mayday” signal and is heading to Ben-Gurion International Airport. A Level 2 state of emergency has been declared.
It appears the plane has hydraulic system problems. There are 160 passengers on board. Ambulances are responding to the airport from Gush Dan, Jerusalem and other areas.

Foam has been sprayed on the runway which will be used by the Jordanian airliner which released a mayday signal earlier. The pilot reported that the plane’s hydraulic system is malfunctioning. Magen David Adom, Ichud Hatzalah, Zaka, and Hatzalah units are on the scene. Magen David Adom has established a central command center.

The aircraft landed without incident. The plane has 170 passengers on board. The plane is reported to be an Egyptian airliner that does not normally travel to Israel. The alert had ended.
