Israel’s Counter-Terrorism Bureau released yet another travel advisory for Israelis in Egypt. The advisory emphasizes the recommendation to avoid traveling to Egypt. In addition, the alert calls upon all Israelis in Egypt to leave that country immediately due to the volatile situation in that country. Despite the violence in that country, the warning is a travel advisory and travel to Egypt is permitted.

The alert adds that Israelis in hotels and beaches are at high risk for being targeted by terrorists.

In the meantime, on Sunday, 29 Tammuz 5773 gunmen launched a number of attacks in Sinai – targeting security checkpoints close to Gaza and the border with Israel. At least one Egyptian security official was killed.
