A central hesped event for Rav Elyashiv ZT”L is scheduled to take place in Bnei Brak on Thursday night, the eve of 27 Tammuz 5773, in the Letterman Shul. The event, set to get underway at 20:30, will be attended by HaGaon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky Shlita.

In addition, on Thursday night beginning at 20:00 until midnight, every half hour, buses will run from Zvill Square (corner Shmuel HaNavi Street) to the tziyun on Har Menuchos. The bus will travel via Bar Ilan, Yirmiyahu, and Givat Shaul Streets until reaching the beis hachaim.

Service will also be available on Friday, 27 Tammuz beginning at 08:00 until noon. The same timing and route of Thursday night applies here too.

The bus service is free, a donation by someone wishing to honor the Gadol Hador’s memory.

Egged adds it will significantly pick up service on its 54 line from Binyanei Ha’uma on Friday to accommodate mispallalim. The same will hold true on Sunday.

This main event in Bnei Brak follows hespedim and assemblies held around Eretz Yisrael and the world during the past week as world Jewry marks the first year since the petira of the Gadol Hador, HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv ZT”L.
