IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-Gen. Benny Gantz is in the United Kingdom. It is the first visit by an IDF chief of staff to that country since 1988. Britain’s Chief of Staff General Sir Peter Wall held a secretive meeting in Israel 18 months ago.

According to a Walla News report, Gantz will be meeting with senior military officials to discuss worrisome Mideast realities, the revolutions and civil wars brewing and taking place in a number of neighboring countries in addition to discussing the Iranian nuclear threat.
