Jerusalem Deputy Mayor (Yahadut Hatorah) Yitzchak Pindrus accuses Jerusalem City Hall in “blatant involvement in an effort to affect the outcome of the elections for new chief rabbis”.
Pindrus questions how City Hall simply abandoned its ethics to influence the outcome of the election, promoting the candidacy of the dati leumi candidate for Ashkenazi Chief Rabbi, Rabbi David Stav. Pindrus calls on the Jerusalem legal advisor to check into the city’s unauthorized role in the elections.
