Once again a child in Yerushalayim was taken to a local hospital following a fall from a significant height. The latest incident occurred on 17 Tammuz 5773, when Ichud Hatzalah responded to Elkana Street on a call for a child who fell from a height. The first EMTs on the scene reported it appeared the child fell from a balcony and sustained a head injury. His condition was listed as “moderate” when transported to a hospital in a Magen David Adom ambulance.

Just this week Ichud Hatzalah urged parents to be increasingly vigilant regarding the play areas for their children to prevent such avoidable incidents from occurring.
