Brooklyn: Armed Robbery Suspect Shot Dead After Firing Gun At NYPD


nypdAn armed robbery suspect is dead after trading gunfire with police in East New York.

According to investigators, patrolling officers found the 50-year-old black suspect trying to rob a 28-year-old Hispanic man at around 1 a.m. They say the suspect turned toward police and fired one shot.

The cops returned fire, hitting the man in the chest. He then took off and hid behind a car on Dumont Avenue, where his weapon was later recovered.

The suspect was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead. An officer was taken to Jamaica Hospital for ringing in his ear, and the robbery victim was not hurt.

  2. with all our gun control how does the crook get a gun. learn from this a crook can get a gun whenever he wants , but the good guy can’t
