The Movement for Quality Government (MQG) earlier this month petitioned the Supreme Court to compel the immediate draft of bnei yeshivos YWN-ISRAEL reported. A hearing was set for this Tuesday, 10 Tammuz 5773. The court however signaled the hearing will be postponed for it wishes to study the issues at hand.
On Sunday, 8 Tammuz, the MQG asked to hold the hearing on the date planned. Officials told the court that for as long as there is no ruling in the matter, 40,000 bnei yeshivos are permitted to continue violating the law by not serving in the military.

Why stall? The sooner they draft the yeshiva students, the sooner they need to begin mass arrests, the sooner they face mass resistance, the sooner the medinah collapses, the sooner meshiach comes, the more time for learning Torah.
