Education Minister Rabbi Shai Piron, who was hospitalized upon his return from Poland last week after he complained of severe chest pain, was released from the hospital.

The Yesh Atid party cabinet minister was released to his home for Shabbos after doctors monitored his condition and felt confident he is clear for release. The minister’s staff released a message to the media that Piron did not suffer a cardiac incident, using the opportunity to thank and praise the staff at Beilinson Hospital in Petach Tikvah.
