As has been the case in pervious summers, Hamas controlled Gaza is host to terror camps, such as the Islamic Jihad’s summer program. The terror organization is busy preparing to accept children for summer camp, Jihad camps. Officials involved in preparing for the summer explain they are responsible for “preparing the next generation for the resistance”, well focused on their mission – which is not about fun and games for Gaza’s children.

The PA (Palestinian Authority) Ma’an News Agency quotes officials saying “We believe the next generation of Palestinians will be capable of protecting itself against Israeli aggressions.” Despite the left-wing community’s peace overtures, the children of Gaza learn their hate for Israel at a very young age.

Children ages 6-16 are eligible to register for summer camp, which will include 80 select children. The courses given to the children include first aid, self defense, instilling pride and self confidence in the children and instruction in the art of kidnapping IDF soldiers. There is a training camp in the Rafiach area to permit campers to actually simulate abducting soldiers.
