The Jerusalem Planning Board approved the construction of two buildings for the Ateres Yisrael Yeshiva in the Har Nof neighborhood of Yerushalayim. The yeshiva is under HaGaon HaRav Baruch Mordechai Ezrachi Shlita, a member of the Moetzas Gedolei Hatorah. The two buildings will be constructed on a 5,085 square meter plot on Chai Taib Street. The plans are now in the hands of the District Planning Board. If the latter gives its approval, construction is expected to begin.
The plot of land was previously allocated for the construction of a 120 unit senior citizens complex, but now, the two buildings, one nine stories and one seven are slated for the plot of land. At present, the yeshiva is renting a building in Bayit Vegan.
