If you are planning to visit the Kosel on Thursday afternoon 5 Tammuz 5773 or Friday morning, 6 Tammuz, you should be aware that you will be doing a bit of walking.

Bus service to the Kosel will be interrupted to accommodate a car exhibition called “Jerusalem Formula – The Peace Road Show.” http://p1.pagewiz.net/Jerusalemformula/ One will have to walk to the Kosel from Givati parking lot via Dung Gate. The car event will be held on 5 and 6 Tammuz, closing roads. Street closures include David Remez Square, Derech Hebron, Chativat Yerushalayim, Yitzchak Kariv and King David Streets. The event will compel redirecting over 20 bus lines, which will result in many bus stops being cut out of the route during the time the car event takes place.

Bus lines impacted include: 1, 3, 4, 4A, 6, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 21, 21A, 38, 38A, 43, 49, 71, 72, 74, 75 and 124.

The closure will occur on Thursday at noon until 19:00 at least. On erev Shabbos, the closure will be from 08:00 until 14:00.
