The Kotel Plaza and its environs were closed off to the general public for a period of time this morning to ensure that the Women of the Wall group would be able to pray undisturbed. Despite the heavy police presence, hundreds of women from the Women for the Wall grass-roots group gathered at pray at the Kotel. The protest against the groups presence presented itself mostly from call to leave and song and prayer from the men present. A small group of men supporting Women of the Wall was present and were not allowed down to the Kotel, so they were unable to read from the Torah, and so they read from their prayer books instead, which they interrupted ignored to sing along with the ladies. A lot of dialogue took place between supporters of both camps. The group was escorted under heavy police guard from the Kotel on three Egged buses.

1)When did the ‘jewish”(sic) State ever expend a bit of the effort to defend authentic prayer?
2)They are absolved from praying(,or incanting in their opinion,) now for another month
This is galus and this is what churban is. So sad to see this. Such lost jewish souls.
While attempting to watch the video, an ad for “Messianic Bibles” appeared! Is this a Trojan horse?
