While Israel continues to monitor events in Syria, state officials in that country have already blamed the “Zionists” with involvement, accusing Israel of arming rebel forces in an effort to topple Bashar al-Assad’s government.

Working to assist his ally, President Bashar al-Assad, Hizbullah television is spreading the word of the Israeli involvement in efforts to oust Assad from office. Hizbullah affiliated al-Manar TV reported undercover IDF units operating in Syria, showing a weapons cache in Qusair which included an Uzi, which the reporter stated was given to rebel forces by Israel.
