Following the eviction of some residents of Beit El’s Ulpana neighborhood almost a year ago, PA (Palestinian Authority) residents are now petitioning the Israeli judicial system to oust the remaining residents.
After the removal of the five apartment buildings, the Arabs are now calling for the removal of the remaining nine buildings, Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) reports. The residents of the village of Dura el-Qara, located next to Beit El, filed with Israel’s Supreme Court on Tuesday, 26 Sivan 5773. The petitioners maintain that not only were the five buildings that were removed on village land, but the remaining buildings are too.
Residents of the community reject the petition, which they say has no basis in fact. They explain they have been living there for 15 years after receiving government approval and a bank mortgage.
The eviction of Ulpana neighborhood residents almost brought down the government last year. Ultimately, acting on the decision of community rabbonim, the residents agreed to leave without a confrontation after the government promised to relocate them and build additional housing units in Beit El to compensate the community for the anguish and hardship that resulted from the High Court-ordered eviction.

Sounds to me like a real estate dispute. Didn’t the bank demand some sort of title insurance? If building on disputed land in the USA, you would bring a court action to clear title before building.
And SOUNDS to me like the salami slicing. Slice off as much from Israel as you can till none of the salami is there….
talking about land grab
#1. The Arabs claim ownership of everything, including when Jews purchased the property and possess the deed. This is just more of the same.
It’s the trouble makers among the Arabs that need to be removed.
