Jerusalem’s Chareidi Kindergartens to Operate for 11 Months

pindrus.jpgDue to the efforts of Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Rav Yitzchak Pindrus, who holds the chareidi education portfolio, chareidi kindergartens in the city will operate for 11 months instead of 10. While this will be the third year that this program exists in the city’s kindergarten system, it will be the first year in the chareidi system.

Pindrus adds the new reality will bring much relief to parents, who are faced with finding funds to place children into summer programs to keep them in some type of framework. Now, as a result of his successful efforts, the children will enjoy an additional month in their familiar framework while the cost for the additional month will be significantly less than summer camp programs.
