A baby lost consciousness following a bris milah which took place in a shul on Pinchas Street in Holon on Thursday morning, 21 Sivan 5773.
Ichud Hatzalah was first on the scene, reporting resuscitation was performed on the infant, who was transported in critical condition to Wolfson Hospital.
The tzibur is requested to be mispallel for שמואל בן אורית.

Israel Radio reports the baby is in “stable” condition in Wolfson Hospital. It appears the baby choked while being fed after the bris and the medical emergency was not the result of the bris milah.

i can already predict that the anti- bris crowd will hop on this story to try to get bris milah outlawed, saying it is unsafe. they like to make rules out of the exception. . may the tinok have a refuah shelaimah.

Your the one bringing politics into this. No where does the article suggest that there is any possible linkage with the M’bP issue here nor that the milah was done incorrectly. It was a choking incident unrelated to milah or the moshel. There is legitimate disagreement about the need for (al pi halacha) AND the safety of M’bP but your seeking to fan the flames here.
May the baby have a refuah shelamah and grow up to be a regular poster on YWN.

Use analgesics with a circumcision and conduct the procedure in a quiet and clean environment.
