The brutal murders of 49 worshipers in two mosques in New Zealand today is a personal tragedy for the relatives and friends of those who were killed, and yet another in the long list of murderous acts born of religious or racial hatred.

This horrific act is not a crime against Muslims alone, but against humanity.

Agudath Israel of America extends its condolences to the families of the worshipers killed, and condemns all such evil acts and the attitudes that lead to them.
