The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for south central Delaware County and northwestern Sullivan county in central New York. The warning is in effect until 1:45 p.m.
Radars indicate a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado nine miles west of Roscoe, New York and moving east at 25 miles per hour.
The storm will be near Roscoe by 1:30 pm; Hazel by 1:35 pm; Livingston Manor by 1:40 p.m.; and Parksville by 1:45 p.m.
The National Weather Service recommends anyone in the path of the tornado, seek shelter in a basement or an interior room away from windows.
