Bobov 45 Mosdos signed a contract this past Thursday to purchase a big building in Boro Park for their older elementary Cheder grades.
The contract, which cost $11 Million, is to purchase the building that is located on the corner of 15th Ave. and 41st Street, the Former Munkatch School, the size of the Building is a 100×100.
The kehilah estimates it will cost them an additional $8 Million for renovations, a project of $19 Million. Included in the plans is the construction of an additional two floors, a Total of 50,000 Sq-Ft which will be used for Classrooms, Lunchrooms, and Offices. The scheduled opening date is for the 2020-2021 school year. The building will house the older classes of the elementary from Kitah 3-9. The younger grades will remain at their current location on 59th Street and 21st Ave.
The news comes just a few days, after The Boro Park YM-YWHA board voted to approve the sale of their building on 14th Ave & 49st to Bobov 45 to build a New Shul, as reported on YWN, and a week after Bobov 45 celebrated the rededication of the massive 150,000 square ft. girls school building in Boro Park, as reported on YWN.

Hasn’t that former apartment building been vacant for many years with a faded sign about it being the future site of a yeshiva?
Boro Park is becoming majority Bobov while Williamsburg is already majority Satmar.
