The area surrounding Kiryat Belz in Jerusalem is abuzz with activity as the final preparations are arrange in the hours prior to the massive wedding, which is expected to draw tens of thousands of chassidim from around the world. The entire neighborhood and surrounding streets are shut off to vehicular traffic in order to accommodate the masses who are planning on attending the chuppah, which is constructed in the middle of a central traffic circle.

It is nice to see a news report about a wedding that respects the privacy of the celebrants by not mentioning the names of the chosson or kallah.
#1- What do the chosson or kallah have to do with it. They are just an excuse for the party. A large public simcha, especially in Israel during a time of crisis, is a public celebration and a way for the community to show off its continued existence in spite of all the problems. I suspect the kids would have been quite happy to elope if their parents told them to.
No. 2: I thought the “belz” in “belzer” referred to wedding belz.
Reply to #1. You have some chutzpa. It is obvious you are jealous of the party. Work on your midos.
