MK (Labor) Erel Margalit was apprehended by highway police on motzei Shabbos traveling 161 KPH on Highway 6. He appeared for a hearing on Sunday, 10 Sivan 5773, at which time his license was suspended for 30 days. He will also stand trial for his offense.

The MK admitted to his actions in a posting to his Facebook page, added he endangered life and limb with his irresponsible actions. He expresses remorse and concluded the posting with a word of praise for police and their ongoing efforts to uphold the law and apprehend traffic offenders.
