Rechasim officials approved a budget of 322,693 NIS to set bus stops in place in the municipality capable of accommodating disabled commuters. Municipality officials explain that the law compels public transportation to accommodate disable citizens, and this includes bus stops and access points.

Working with the Ministry of Transportation, work is set to begin soon towards making bus stops accessible to disabled commuters and the elderly. This includes lowering curbs and modifying angles of certain bus stops to make them more accessible and safe for all.
