It appears that the battle against the drafting of bnei yeshivos is not only directed at the government but at chareidi inductees referred to as the “chardakim” (חרדים קלי דעת ). Of late, a letter sent to the new inductees anonymously threatens those chareidim willing to serve, apparently by fanatics who are unwilling to tolerate seeing chareidim in the military under any circumstances.
Reference is made to the “tamei” IDF uniforms, warning the recruits that if they are not out of the uniforms and tamei place in two weeks, an all-out war will be waged against them “at the correct time and place.”
The words a “warning on your life” appear in the letter, signed by the “Warsaw Ghetto Uprising Bnei Brak, Revolt officer”.

Before everyone gets all up in arms, know these kinds of tactics, whether you like them or hate them, WILL have an effect and cause individuals to refrain from enlisting.
Disgusting!
What a scary time!we really need mashiach
That’s messed up.
This is clearly a psychiatric problem and not a political one. Nevertheless whomever sent the letter has the DIN of RODEF and must be treated seriously. In the past, when similar events occurred, it was required to turn the matter over to the police. I hope that the Bnei Brak people will do the proper thing.
Even though no one will ever know who these tzadikim are that distributed this message, we all thank them for standing up for what is right.
everything has to be done to stop the gzeira.
Zalman – I hope you are being sarcastic!
#6 & #7, Learn the history of Toras Eretz Yisroel.
When bnei Torah completed full-time learning at the Mir/beis Hatalmud/Ponevitch the RY would advise them to enlist in the IDF shortened service.
Chareidi Baryonim!
Lapid and Bennett have announce “Me Neged Ha’Shem Itanu” (who is against Ha-Shem, with us” — so this isn’t shocking. Was it shocking that after Pearl Harbor Americans hated the Japanese and were determined to destroy their country (even if they occasionally overracted)?
The Lapid/Bennett camp have declared war on those who learn Torah. Many frum Jews who have supported the military in the past, for whatever reason (patriotism, zionism, racism against Arabs, desire for great parnassah resulting from military service, etc.), now have to decide which side they are on. Lapid/Bennett clearly have the DIN OF RODEF, and we must treat them accordingly. Those who find themselves, suddenly, allied with the RODEF in attacking the Am ha-Torah, have to reconsider that alliance.
There is room for compromise – but only if the current government (Likud/Lapid/Bennett) agree that those who are learning Torah free time have the option to continue doing so without being conscripted on subjected to punitive sanctions for not joining the army.

BUT that wasn’t enough for the zionists. It wasn’t enough that apparently thousands of hareidim serve in the army. The problem for the zionists is that thousands of Jews are putting Torah ahead of army services. This is unacceptable to zionists. Given the historic goal of zionism to make Israel a land where Jews can be a people free from the yoke of Torah, to make Israel a nation that is sovereign (not subject to the rule of anything or anyone, such as Ha-Shem, which is what “sovereign” means) – it is not surprising that sooner or later they would object to all those 18-20 year olds learning Torah. That is why we are now in a life or death situation.
akuperma: Did Lapid and Bennett actually use those words? I would prefer to take them at their word, that they are NOT against Torah, and that they merely want the chareidim to share the military and economic burdens. But I am willing to change my mind, PROVIDED that you can show me something which is as clear and unambiguous as Pearl Harbor was.
Keeves: Please show us something which is as clear and unambiguous as Pearl Harbor was that David Duke is an anti-semite.
