Hunger Striking Terrorists to be Released on May 8th

pap.jpgAn IDF court has curtailed the sentences of two “security prisoners” held in administrative detention.

The PA (Palestinian Authority) Ma’an news agency reports Attorney Jawad Boulos said the military court ordered the early release of Jaafar Izz al-Din and Tariq Kadan by two weeks and are due to leave Israeli custody on 8. May.

Izz al-Din and Kaadan have been on hunger strike for 90 days in protest over being held under administrative detention. They ended their strike once the decision for early release was announced following a protracted appeal, Boulos said.

According to prisoner support group Addameer, between 2007 and 2011, 8,157 administrative detention orders were issued by Israel. As of February 2013, there were 178 Arab administrative detainees in Israeli custody, including nine members of the Palestinian Legislative Council.

  1. sounds like Israel will release hunger striking terrorist.
Gee it takes a lot of brain power to figure that now all terrorist in Israeli jails will go on hunger strikes to gain freedom and Israel will give it to them.
who else see something wrong with that picture?????

  2. NY courts just passed a law enabling prisons to overcome hunger strikes by prisoners, by allowing them to force fed through a feeding tube. It should be a simple solution.
