Military officials in Jerusalem are concerned over the White House’s unwillingness to take the next step regarding the unfolding events in Syria.
American intelligence officials are now in agreement with Israeli assessments, aware of the fact that chemical agents have been used by Syrian government forces against rebels, albeit in small quantities. There is now agreement surrounding the use of sarin gas against civilians by government forces.
President Obama stated that the use of chemical weapons by Syria would be a “game changer” and for Israel, American’s response vis-à-vis Damascus is an indicator of reliability regarding a White House response against Iran in the future.
Meanwhile back in Israel, Minister of Environmental Affairs (The Movement) Amir Peretz told colleagues during the Sunday morning weekly cabinet meeting the “with or without the use of chemical weapons the international community may not remain silent in light of the events taking place in Syria.”
Peretz stated that the international community has failed to take any significant measures to halt the ongoing fighting, which claims hundreds of lives daily.

It’s a Game Changer: The President will now be going to the basketball court instead of the golf course
Do hope a mightly lesson is being learned.
USA is not walking the walk or talking the talk.
Israel will be the one to feel the disaster as they are in the Golan. The peace-keeping forces of foreign countries are leaving & walking off their bases since Syrian rebels are instigating terror., and the Golan is boiling over with no ‘parave border’.
Obamas lack of response speaks volumes.
I miss President Bush more and more everyday, not to mention Reagan ; men who truly carried a big stick. Unlike the Embarrassment-in-Chief who Joe Biden claims carries a big stick too but his total fumbling of yet another foreign policy fiasco shows the world just how incompetent and meek he really is.
