Progress is being reported as a result of the first round of talks with Turkey headed by National Security Advisor Yaakov Amidror and his team. The next round of talks will take place in Israel.
Amidror and his team are working to close a deal that will compel Israel to make compensatory payment to families of Turkish nationals killed on the Marvi Marmara. In exchange for this Turkey will drop any and all efforts to press criminal charges against the Israel Navy commandos involved in the operation. This would become Turkish law towards preventing any Turkish citizens from taking actions against IDF soldiers on their own.
Restoring good ties with Turkey will permit Israeli military aircraft to use Turkish air space one again, a reality that may play a critical role in any action taken against Iran.

who says crime doesn’t pay!
IDF soldiers following orders and protecting their lives is a CRIME….????
Keep the focus on the real problem. It isn’t Turkey, it is Iran!
