The tziyun of the Tana R’ Shimon ben Gamliel is located in Kana in northern Israel. Visitors were shocked to see the lock and chain were broken and vandals used red spray paint to defile the kever in addition to smashing and damaging portions of it.
The village is located between Tiveria and Nazareth, and as a result of past vandalism attacks, the decision was made to lock the tziyun up. However, the vandals this time were willing to break locks and chains towards carrying out their mission.
