A man is fighting for his life after being colliding with a vehicle in Flatbush on Sunday.
The man, reportedly around 60-years-old, was riding a bike when he struck a vehicle on Avenue I near East 2nd Street. Reports indicate he may he rode into the open door of a parked vehicle.
Hatzolah found the man in critical condition. Sources tell YWN that the man has a serious head injury, and was intubated by Hatzolah Paramedics. He was rushed to Maimonides Hospital by Hatzolah.

Based on his head injuries, I’m assuming he wasn’t wearing a helmet.
Let this be a plea to all bicyclists to always wear a helmet while riding a bike
Fyi HE DID HAVE A HELMET ON SAFE AND WELL AND STILL IT HAPPENED BUT IT COULD HAVE BEEN MUCH WORSE IF HE DID NOT HAVE A HELMET ON
