Rick Santorum didn’t commit, but he did give a strong indication that a second White House run in 2016 is likely.
Mr. Santorum told Newsmax that “I’m certainly leaving the door open for that. I’m making no commitments at this point, but we’re not doing anything inconsistent with running in 2016.”
The former Pennsylvania senator and 2012 presidential candidate has been on several conservative media talk shows lately, the Washington Examiner reports. Political watchers think he might be getting an early jump in order to better fight off challenges from other high-profile likely candidates: Gov. Chris Christie, Sen. Marco Rubio and Sen. Rand Paul, to name a few.
In 2012, Mr. Santorum stood as a strong conservative on social issues — and to Newsmax, he seemed to suggest that this platform would not change.
“We have not had a nominee that is ready to go out and articulate a unified vision of what conservatism is, what American’s first principles are about, and why we’re the greatest country in the history of the world. And then we wonder why we don’t win,” he told Newsmax.

Rick is a good man and should be voted for if he decides to run. He would make a great moral President. He would give a rejuvinated hope to the decent Americans who have been beaten down by the wicked evil Liberalism that has spread like a cancer, across this great land.
I am davening that he run. We need him as President.

I agree with the previous comments. I also like Santorum and was rooting for him. But we need to remember why we lost last time around. We need the new faces. Conservatives like Rubio or Ryan (he still qualifies as new because veep doesn’t count)would run a better race against Hillary.

We need to run a race against the liberals not against politicians. Romney should have killed Obama in debates, which he did in the first two but laid out to die in the third, and he lost.
We need to show the libs why ideas coming from the democrats are holding everyone down.
Who knows if Her Thighness will even run in ’16 and if she does, will she survive the primaries.
