Former Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman gave a ministerial citation to members of Zaka’s Tel Aviv district for their handling of the thousands of body parts and samples recently brought to kvuras Yisrael. They were found in the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute, part of the collection of former Chief Pathologist Prof. Yehuda Hiss.

In his letter to the Zaka district commander, Chaim Nogelblatt, Litzman praises the work and mesirus nefesh of the volunteers on Operation Menucha V’Kovod, the burial of the remains in accordance with Halacha.
