On Wednesday, March 13, 2013, New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli visited the Satmar Matzah Bakery in Williamsburg with a group of local Jewish community leaders, lead by Rabbi David Niederman, President of the United Jewish Organizations Williamsburg, to view the traditional preparation of matzah before the beginning of Passover on March 25th.
“With Passover fast approaching, I would like to send along my best wishes to all of those in Jewish communities across New York. It is always fascinating to witness the ancient rituals, passed down over generations, of matzah making and I thank the Williamsburg community leaders for inviting me to be a part of that.”
