Anticipating another week of violence following last Friday’s firebomb attacks against police on Har Habayis, Jerusalem’s police commander is imposing age restrictions for this Friday, 4 Nissan 5773.

Islamic males over the age of 50 with blue [Israeli] identity cards will be permitted on the Holy Site. PA (Palestinian Authority) residents without an Israeli identity card and/or males under 50 are barred. There are no restrictions in place for female worshippers.

Police will be out in large numbers as they expect Islamic worshippers will spark violence following Friday afternoon services as attacks increase in areas of Yehuda and Shomron.
