B’chasdei Hashem IDF soldiers were not killed or injured when Arab terrorists targeted them with firebombs on Tuesday night the eve of 2 Nissan 5773 in the Hebron district. In Israel, the mainstream media headlines report “Palestinian shot dead by IDF soldiers” following the lead of the international community which seems to favor painting the IDF in an unfavorable light.

In actuality, the soldiers faced a potentially fatal situation as firebombs were hurled at them, and B’chasdei Hashem they were able to respond, killing one of the terrorists and seriously wounding the second, escaping unharmed.

The Office of the IDF Spokesman confirms the soldiers were in “life-threatening danger” and they were compelled to use live fire to extricate themselves from that danger.
