Shortly after the Likud/Beitenu ultimatum to Yesh Atid was announced earlier Tuesday 2 Nissan 5773, Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett called the prime minister’s move futile. According to an Israel Radio report, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu set a deadline of a number of hours for Yair Lapid to accept the deal on the negotiating table or he will turn to the chareidi parties towards including them in the coalition.
Mr. Netanyahu is also scheduled to meet with Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennett later in the day in what is being billed as a “long meeting”, perhaps to ascertain if Bennett will enter into a coalition with the chareidim if Yesh Atid does not accept the ultimatum. It appears that at this juncture, Bennett is the key player in the coalition talks.
Responding on his Facebook page, Bennett referred to the Likud ultimatum as a futile attempt. He writes “I am calling on my friends in Likud to realize it is not going to work.” He emphasized the need to continue negotiating until agreement is reached by compromise, not by ultimatum.
Yesh Atid has released a statement that the party and its leader, Yair Lapid, continue to cling to the principles announced during the election towards remaining true to voters and towards a commitment to improving the country.

Unless Bennett wants to give up his alliance with Lapid, OR, unless Labor joins the government, Likud plus Hareidim isn’t enough.
we all know what lapid’s agenda is for “improving the country”
Its not good us if lapid goes to opstion, will give him better chances of becoming PM in next eklection:(
