An Arab male was apprehended late Wednesday morning 24 Adar 5773 near the Shomron community of Tapuach. The suspect was found to be carrying a knife as well as an improvised explosive device.

The suspect was apprehended by border police, who report the bomb was intended for detonation via a cellular telephone. The suspect was taken into custody while the explosive device was neutralized without incident by bomb demolition experts.
