For Tel Avivians in the Dizengoff Square area on Tuesday morning 23 Adar 5773 it was a most unpleasant site, as the head of goat was found at the location with a sign “end animal slaughter”.

It appears the anti-slaughter activists were quite busy, as a cow’s head was found a short time thereafter on Eben Givrol Street and a sheep’s head in Jaffa, all with accompanying signs against animal slaughter. Red coloring was introduced to the fountain at the Eben Givrol site, making it all the more unattractive.

Police have launched an investigation and forensic experts were dispatched to the three scenes in the hope of gathering evidence.
