MK (Yisrael Beitenu) Avigdor Lieberman announced on Tuesday 16 Adar 5773 that he is now certain that sanctions taken against Iran are non-effective. Lieberman added that additional sanctions will no longer achieve the desired goal and in light of recent developments in Tehran. “Much more significant actions must be taken against Iran” the former foreign minister added, falling short of detailing just what he feels these “significant actions” should entail.
